Involvement! Member attendance at the monthly Board Meetings and at the Annual Meeting is welcome. Monthly Board Meetings are usually the third Thursday of each month at WITC. Inquire at the store for meeting date and time. Members also may vote during the Annual Meeting on important issues for the co-op and run for Board of Director seats. Terms for board seats are two years. Board seat terms are usually staggered, which means one or two seats open every year. The Annual Meeting usually takes place in October. If you would like to volunteer at the co-op, please inquire at the store.

Good Work Derived From Co-Ops
Co-ops are owned by the people who use them. Co-ops respect their members and value their opinions. Members have a right to vote on big issues and can impact co-op decisions. The more members a co-op has, the more bargaining power it has. As we grow, we support a number of small scale farmers and local producers, perhaps even saving some land from development.
